January has a tendency to be a rough month but this year, something was different! We had such a good month! I don't know if it was the large amounts of snow we got, Mckai just being the light of our lives, or if something in my mindset was different this year but whatever it was... it was great!
^ Mckai's first time bowling! ^
He was very serious about it, just like his daddy I suppose :) But loved going to get the balls and then watching them the whole way to the pins.
^ Sunday drive up the canyon ^
One Sunday it was snowing as we walked into church but when we walked out, the snow had turned to rain :( We decided to chase the snow and head up the canyon!
^ The first big snowfall! ^
Tristan went into work later that day so that we could spend the morning playing in the snow with Mckai! We built his very first snow fort and of course Kacee was in heaven. Baby boy was allowed to have his binky because before we even made it outside, he tripped on his boots and got a giant goose egg.
^ so many walks with both my babies ^
^ our favorite walk was on a day when it just kept snowing. Those were mine and Kacee's favorite walks pre-baby and it looks like Mckai enjoys them as well! ^
^ lots of slow days at home, spending our time in pajamas and playing with toys ^
^ A snowy Saturday! ^
^ After Mckai's nap on that same snowy Saturday, we got to build his first snowman! ^
^ left & right: a slow morning in bed playing with Tristan's glasses that Mckai always seems to find. It's mornings like those that I never want to forget!
middle: Sunday dinner trying out those man buns ^
^ left: Mckai's half birthday! Dinner at JCWs plus an ice cream cone for the birthday boy :)
middle: one of many shopping trips to target
right: kissing the baby in the window while waiting in line for dinner one date night ^
^ left: shopping at Old Navy like a big boy!
middle: my favorite picture from Miranda this month :)
right: lunch date with Tristan and of course they were wearing their matching shoes! ^
hello, february!
