zoey turns ONE!

A few of my favorite pictures of our Zoey monster in honor of her first birthday!

Zoey weighs the exact same as Kacee, 57 pounds. She has short little legs in comparison to her long torso so sometimes we think she looks like a shetland pony ;) She is such a pretty dog, has long soft ears and makes us laugh when her tongue falls out the side of her mouth. She doesn't give kisses, except to Mckai! But she loves to snuggle and usually ends up on our bed every night. She has a serious case of FOMO and always has to be wherever everyone else is. She is 'mostly' potty trained (insert a little bit of laugh crying here...) besides being a pee monster though she has always been such a good girl! She never pooped in the house and hasn't chewed on anything she wasn't supposed to since back when we were living in California. She is the BEST listener! We can let her outside to go potty and she'll come right back in... and if she starts to wander she comes running the second we say her name. It's a bit of a refreshing change in comparison to Kacee who is the queen of ignoring us! She knows sit, lay down, shake, high five, roll over, and stay. She loves to play, loves getting attention, and loves chewing on bones. She has started to mellow out a bit but if new visitors come to our house she is crazy and excited! (Especially if Miranda comes over, she will not leave her alone, it's like she knows who her real mom is ;) She is seriously the sweetest dog I know, there is not a mean or fighting bone in her body. If another dog starts to get angry she immediately lays down and becomes submissive. She just wants everyone in the world to love her, and it's not hard to because she's just so sweet.  WE LOVE YOU, ZOEY GIRL!
