firsts

it has been an eventful week for kacee!

tristan and i took her to the pool with us while we swam laps.
at first she just ran back and forth along the side of the pool, meeting us at each side.
but pretty soon she got sick of that and jumped right in.
she can swim!!

she finally got her last set of shots.
this means that she is no longer at risk and can start going places.
so we took her to the park over the fence from our apartment.
we tried to play fetch but she still doesn't quite understand the concept.
she did enjoy a long patch of grass that was perfect for rolling around in.

finally, she went on her first run!
one of the ways tristan convinced me to let him get a puppy was for a running buddy.
today we took her out for a test run.
she did great!
she needs to learn not to run at our heels.
and we need to learn her boundaries so we know how far we can take her.
but i am excited for when she can accompany me on all my runs :)
