a visit from the dicristofanos!

^ see all that dirt covering my shirt... let's just say hiking with an independent toddler is interesting.. ^

The day after my mom and sister went back to Utah, Tristan's family drove in to visit! Mckai loved all the attention he got from his Nana, Papa, Ashley & Sean. And Zoey loved having another puppy around to play with since Ashley brought her puppy. This will mostly be a photo dump as well but we had so much fun getting breakfast almost every day, eating at BJ's twice (guys, I cannot get enough of that place!), and exploring Sacramento and San Francisco with them!

OLD SACRAMENTO
and the California State Railroad Museum

^ it was National Ice Cream day and it was 105 degrees... so we definitely couldn't pass it up! ^

SACRAMENTO ZOO
By far the worst zoo I've ever been to but luckily Mckai loved it anyway!

SAN FRANCISCO
Lombard Street, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, and walking the Golden Gate Bridge

^ my first time driving Lombard Street! ^

^ we both loved the seals! they are so cute. ^

Boudin Bakery, Ghiradelli Square, Chinatown, and the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge

^ I feel like this picture sums up life with my two year old ^

^ this is my favorite because we've been trying to teach Mckai how old he is but instead of 2 fingers up, he has all fingers up with his pointer finger and middle finger crossed. it's adorable! ^

^ Ryan, Kenzie and Millie joined us for our second day in the city. These two are best friends and it's definitely the most adorable thing I've ever seen. ^

not pictured: a tour of the Jelly Belly Factory, lots of time spent flying drones (and a dead pigeon...), and my father-in-law on a mini segway.

We loved having family visit and hope that we've convinced them that they need to visit us every summer ;) But after almost two weeks of visitors, Mckai and I are thoroughly enjoying staying in pajamas/sweats all day and going to the pool as much as possible :)
