life lately :: june

I'm just a little late with this update but oh well! It was a good summer month!

^ live music in the park complete with bouncy houses and food trucks! Mckai was not a fan of the music though..... ^

^ an afternoon at The Wave with Miranda! ^

^ date night at Leatherbys and Mckai's new favorite face ^

^ many evenings spent at the playground behind our house ^

^ story time at the public library! ^

^ the time I tried to go shopping at Old Navy for myself and it was a complete disaster... 4 lost bouncy balls later we left the store empty handed and played with the rocks out front because apparently they don't have shopping carts at the Old Navy here and my toddler is anything but cooperative (read: runs all over the store and pulls everything off the shelves...). good thing he's cute! ^

^ the company "start of summer" BBQ ^

^ a sunday spent at Muir Woods (see more pictures here)

^ Zoey finally got her last set of shots which meant daily trips to the dog park to get all that puppy energy out! it has been heaven sent! minus the days that there is mud... ^

^ SO many pool days! Mckai learned to love swimming this month and I've loved watching him gain confidence in the water! our favorite pool days are with Millie & popsicles! ^

^ father's day at Raging Waters (see more here)

^ when you have a puppy that pees in the house if you don't take her outside every 15 minutes... you spend the majority of your day outside. good thing Mckai looks so cute walking his puppies! ^

^ puppy pictures to prove that she is cute even if she has accidents in the house and steals Mckai's food ^

^ a luau at the apartment pool, saturday night shenanigans, and pretty sunsets ^

^ a saturday night spent laser tagging, bounce housing, and game playing! Mckai had so much fun and stayed up way past bedtime winning 54 rubber duckys (he has Tristan's guys wrapped around his little fingers :) ^

^ a sunday spent in San Francisco that ended with the coolest hotel downtown! ^

^ goodbye california, hello utah! ^

^ how I felt about going back to work and working 4 shifts in a row.... Mckai on the other hand had a lot of fun with nanny Miranda playing in the backyard and going to the splash pad at the Riverwoods! ^
