[i mentioned the places that are on the top of my list here, but i could go anywhere, the possibilities are endless!]
anyways, like i said, my in-laws are currently in france and my sister-in-law is super good at posting pictures daily [see for yourself, here] so that i can feel like i'm there too [okay, she's not doing it for me but i really like it.] guess where they went today?
my f a v o r i t e place: la fontaine de vaucluse. i briefly mentioned that this was my favorite spot in france here, but i'm feeling like i didn't give it the credit it deserved. i mean if there is only one place i could have visited it would have been this place. it was t h a t amazing. and lets face it, i'm a nature girl.
so this is me reminiscing...
i have to stop here for a second and compare. we were there in the winter [above]. the picture [below] is from tristan's senior trip in fall of 2007. oh my goodness, can you believe the difference? i'm just in awe at how awesome nature is.
while we were there, tristan kept saying "i've never seen this much water before." i believed him but i didn't really understand until i came home and looked at his pictures. the ruler in the upper left picture was almost completely underwater. the picture below shows that tristan could stand beneath that same ruler. how many times can someone say a variation of amazing in one post? but seriously, it's amazing! now if only we could combine the massive amounts of water that you find in the winter, with the gorgeous amounts of green that you find in the summer...
alrighty, i'll stop saying amazing, awesome, cool, gorgeous, beautiful & favorite, i think you all got the picture.
here's to saving up for our next adventure! if you have travel suggestions please share. i want to know what places i just h a v e to see before i die.
I have wondered since you have been back where that famous last picture was taken. that is so cool! the water was so dang blue while you guys were here. it was very clear but not blue like that! lucky. haha and yes I definitely do think of you while running home to post my pictures. so you can feel like you are here too. :)
