Snapshot of 2016

I turned 25. Went to California for Tristan's cousin's wedding. Took a post-babymoon to Cancun and Mckai had his first sleepover with his Nana and Papa. Tristan and Kacee moved to Pennsylvania to sell for Aptive Environmental. Kacee turned 5! I survived 2 months of solo parenting with a lot of help from family and our nanny Miranda. Mckai had his first flight, then went on to have 5 more back and forth from Utah. Visited New Jersey beaches, New York City, Niagara Falls, and St. Louis, Missouri. Mckai turned ONE! Went to Lake Powell. Spent a lot of time exploring Philadelphia. Celebrated our 6 year anniversary. Moved back home to Utah. Tristan went on a 10 day hunting trip to Africa and turned 28. I logged in at least 30 extra shifts in the NICU and experienced more losses and heartbreak than ever before. Bought two new cars. Mckai went from looking like a chunky baby to being a complete toddler. We spent another 8 months trying to get pregnant, here's to hoping 2017 has a baby in store for us!
