For those who have been following along for awhile, you know that we usually spend our summer living somewhere other than our home (Utah) for my husband's work. This summer was spent just outside of Philadelphia and we loved it. One of the greatest things about the east coast (besides how green and beautiful it is!) is how close everything is. We were able to visit so many states and the furthest we ever drove was 7 hours but usually no more than 3 hours. We got to spend many weekends on the Jersey shore (see here and here!), a Sunday in NYC, a day in Annapolis, MD, a weekend in Niagara Falls, over a week in St. Louis, Missouri, and many days exploring Philadelphia and other places within Pennsylvania with my favorites being Hershey and Easton. (see here, here, and here :) That's six states, not including all our layovers from all our flights there & back. Our little McKai boy is already more travelled than a lot of people. And definitely more traveled than I was by the time I was 16 :)
Here's to exploring our home state until next summer.
